IamA Las Vegas stripper at a major club. AMA!
I am a Las Vegas stripper who works at a major club! I've been dancing for 8 years, and with all the questions people ask me IRL, I thought I'd do an AMA. :) I have also worked in Atlanta, New Orleans, San Francisco, and Dallas. I love my job and I know people are usually pretty curious.
As for proof, well here's a copy of my business license (can't dance without it in Las Vegas!) and a picture of my shoes.
JLesh1338 karma
You know I don't keep up with sports but I have many friends who are upset about this same thing.
JLesh1388 karma
Raids, lots of them. It still happens there, it's just WAY more expensive and girls are less open about it.
JLesh1353 karma
Ok this made me LOL and I really had to think about it, but no, I haven't. I think if I did I would have to try really hard not to laugh.
JLesh1369 karma
Nice, I love the cliches. Used to be one but sadly no plans to complete. Going in a different career direction.
JLesh13127 karma
Thanks, I really hope to get my first bartending job after taking the alcohol classes, it'll be awesome!
JLesh1339 karma
I think I've topped out at 4 but since I quit eating carbs I could probably do two, depending what's in them.
JLesh1380 karma
I once did a 10hr VIP which I ended up getting $10,532 (still remember to the dollar!) for. It was from one guy, back in 2006 pre-economic shit show collapse, but that total came from the price per hour. I would say just tip... maybe $1,500 on top of the asked price.
JLesh1349 karma
I didn't, for a lot of it. We talked and played games.
And I bought my first car. :)
JLesh1320 karma
Just a little Hyundai. I don't need anything fancy, especially not when I was that age!
tojoso89 karma
It was the CEO of Hyundai; all part of his plan. Basically got a free 10 hour dance as part of the old Hyundai switcheroo.
JLesh1365 karma
Ha, in my case, nothing. The dance I offer in VIP is literally EXACTLY THE SAME as on the floor. It's just for an extended period of time. And I'll usually try and get you very drunk. This guy was an Asian businessman who didn't speak much English and was loaded. We danced, we talked (as much as we could communicate), I had a bouncer bring us a deck of cards (no bullshit!). He was nice, I had fun, good guy.
J2nation25 karma
Can you randomly change your name every night you work? Or once you pick one, that's it?
JLesh1336 karma
Some clubs yes, some no. My club puts you in a computer because we have so many girls (over 7,000 on roster) so you can never change it. So you'd better like it! But at small clubs, you can change it at will.
J2nation13 karma
Nice, follow up question. Is it disadvantageous to change it due to repeat clientele? Or do they not care what you decide to call yourself for the most part?
JLesh1336 karma
It is, IMO. I always choose a name that is believable, and easy to pronounce over loud music. Cuts down on the "what's your real name" bullshit, and as your customers get to know "you", they basically fall in "love" with your character. It can also screw you up if they come to the bouncers or DJ asking for you and you're using another name than your usual.
J2nation7 karma
Makes sense, well good luck with your savings and business. Make that money! :)
JLesh1313 karma
Thanks! Headed into work in about 4 hours, it's my final shift of the week and conventions are in town!
WonderCounselor21 karma
Do guys ever stand a chance at hooking up with strippers later that night? Any tricks to make it happen?
JLesh1368 karma
There are essentially four types of strippers.
The party girls. They don't give a fuck if they make money, they just want to get fucked up. These girls, high probability, but they are usually very young, very stupid, or both.
The "means to an end" girls. This is myself. Maybe they are in school, or are saving for a business etc. These girls are businesswomen and there is usually less than a 5% chance.
The girls who this is their chosen permanent career. They tend to be a little older, and are generally pretty smart about not mixing business and real life. Again, not much chance.
The girls who do it because they feel they have no other choice. Usually bad self esteem, financial hardships, drug problems etc. High probability of getting one of these.
Of all the types in the SC, #1 and #4 are the most common types. As for tips to get them... buy a dance. Don't say you "know how the game works" or "don't have to pay for dances". Buy the girl a drink and a dance and it goes a lot further. Don't be creepy.
That's all I can say about that, as I have never encountered a customer I felt compelled to go home with.
BiggerJ5 karma
Do you think types 2 and 3 will ever become more common relative to the other two types?
What do you think of types 1 and 4? What do you think of people who look down on either of them?
How often do types 1 and 4 quit stripping? Are they often/usually/always in it for life/until retirement? What do they even do when they're too old to continue?
JLesh133 karma
I don't think so, because many girls choose stripping due to the freedom and instability. No schedule, stuff like that. As for how often 1 and 4 quit, usually they quit and come back with some frequency for many, many years. I don't know what they do when they're too old, but I've seen some as old as 45.
PounderMcNasty21 karma
Is it ok for a guy to get a lap dance if he's wearing thin sweatpants and no underwear? Asking for a friend.
JLesh1334 karma
Abso-fucking-lutely not. I will not do the dance if I suspect this and if I figure it out during, I stop the dance and no refunds. It's not sanitary. At all.
cuteman25 karma
It's not sanitary. At all.
I've got a feeling a black light would reveal horrors around your entire work place. Don't get me started on what you'd find if you tested the cash.
JLesh133 karma
Well we do steam clean every 3rd day and even then that's WAY better than getting fresh bodily fluid on me. I'm already trying not to gag thinking about that.
PersonalPreference20 karma
Did you ever get any emotional attachment to one of your customers?
JLesh1360 karma
No. Because it isn't ME who likes them, it's my character and they don't really know me. It's hard to explain. I'm not myself at work, I'm a whole different person.
JLesh1316 karma
No problem, it's always fun for me to pull back the curtain for people a bit. :)
JLesh1323 karma
She's from a different country than me, has an accent, is single, travels a lot (that's actually true) and is around 5 years younger than me.
Sallyjack27 karma
Ok, so I was in Vegas recently, and the girl was putting on an accent from a country who's language I speak, and she did not actually speak the language when I spoke to her in that language. She just kept trying to put on the accent.
Totally killed the mood.
Language.
JLesh1329 karma
LOL. I speak 5 languages (well, 4 1/2) and I speak the language of the accent I imitate. Good lord that's such a n00b mistake.
TroubledViking5 karma
You should play DnD or some other type of RPG, you'd kill the RP element of it
JLesh1315 karma
Yeah, it's a lot like an acting job, TBH. That's why I get upset when people call me a sex worker; none of what I do is sex, it's 90% acting.
shanedoth20 karma
How long do you intend on staying in this career? Have you given any thought to what you plan to do after?
JLesh1350 karma
I'm smart! I save 50% of my money every night, regardless of whether it's a good night or a bad night. I am (happily) married, so my husband and I are saving up to start a business of our own. I'll likely do it two more years.
Lmaokyle19 karma
Do you find it hard to tell men to back off when they start to come on to strong? Would the situation change if they had a large amount of money?
JLesh1369 karma
Nope. In this business you have to know your boundaries and stick to them. I do not give a shit if they like me or not, or how much money they have. My rule is, I MAKE THE RULES. I have totally squished a guy's cheeks and yelled NO in his face. I have hit someone with a shoe. I have slapped someone. I have stopped and looked in their eyes and said deadpan "Now, what made you think that was ok? What's your logic here?"
I always have the upper hand. You have to. And no, money isn't worth it to me. My dignity is priceless. Girls who break boundaries for money disgust me.
ImSomebodyNow22 karma
I have stopped and looked in their eyes and said deadpan "Now, what made you think that was ok? What's your logic here?"
Did that guy actually give you an answer? What did he do to make you react that way?
JLesh1325 karma
It's been more than once. Usually they get very uncomfortable, apologise and tell me they DIDN'T think.
PounderMcNasty19 karma
How much do you have to tip out the DJ, bartenders, etc. after a shift? What percent of the money you make in a night do you actually take home?
JLesh1326 karma
At my current club, the pricing is as follows:
House fee: $50 weekday nights, $60 weekend nights. DJ: 10% of gross, $10 minimum. House mom: $7 minimum Funny money cash out: 10%
We don't tip bartenders or anything, but any waitress or bartender who sends me to a customer I give them 10% of what I got at the table, whether it's one dance or one hour! Teamwork. :) So I'd say at this place I keep about 80%. However in NOLA, I only got to keep 40%! So, every city is different.
JLesh1342 karma
Usually a late 30s to early 50s lady who stay in the dressing room and supplies food, tampons, aspirin, perfume, stuff like that. Sort of like your own mini free Walgreens. They also hold your keys and assess if you are too drunk to drive etc.
JLesh135 karma
When a customer uses a credit card, we get vouchers, sort of like gift certificates. It costs the customer 10% to use his credit card, and when we exchange the funny money in for cash, it deducts 10% from our total earnings.
cutecottage15 karma
I have a very boring question about stripping: how have you worked your way up in the industry, and what's the management like?
Jokes aside, what's "resume building" look like for a stripper? What kinds of questions are you asked in an interview at a new club? What do club owners do to ensure dancer happiness at work, if anything?
Thanks in advance.
JLesh1334 karma
Management varies. The manager at SR is so mean I call him the Hitler of strip clubs. The management at my club in NOLA was awesome. Some management is nice. There's no way to predict it.
This is how you get a job as a stripper:
Do makeup and hair. Select nice two piece outfit. Call the club ask about audition times. Drive to club, ask for manager. Wait between 5 and 60 minutes for them to appear. Dance on a side stage for around 30 seconds. They then tell you yes or no if you're cute enough to be hired. They don't GAF about your personality. No club asks you anything aside from OCCASIONALLY if you've danced before.
Club owners are invisible. You never meet them.
DeadliestSins15 karma
Fellow lady here, I am always impressed with the things exotic dancers can do, as I can barely walk in a straight line without stumbling over my own feet. Do you have to work out a lot and maintain a strict diet to keep your body in good shape, or is your work in itself enough of a workout?
Also, are your clients always men, or do you get women who want dances as well?
JLesh1316 karma
I get women but generally I decline because a) I'm not even a little bisexual and b) they tend to be very grabby just because they also have T&A and I hate that. So for me, yes 99% of my clients are men because that's what I stick to.
I watch my diet very closely.. no rice, bread, potatoes, pasta or sugar. It's ok because I'm not really a carb person to begin with. I work out about 45 minutes a day. Work does help but really, I go onstage 2-3 times per night, most of my time is spent bullshitting people into the VIP so it isn't much of a workout.
DeadliestSins9 karma
Totally makes sense, I'm straight (well, straight-ish) but enjoy grabbing my friend's boobs and vice versa.
What does VIP entail? I've been to Vegas, but it was our first time and we didn't end up going to any clubs, so I don't know how they work. (Which ones would you recommend for our next trip?)
JLesh137 karma
I have seen so many tits at this point they don't even register on my radar.
With me, really nothing you don't get in a floor dance. Many dancers will upgrade to more touching in VIP, but I have boundaries I stick to. I will get you drunk and be the best conversationalist you've ever met though.
Sapphire is most ladies and couple-friendly.
JLesh1345 karma
Hmm. I've seen a dad come in, wrap his jacket around his daughter and carry her out. I've seen two girls 69 on a pole at Casa Diablo in Portland (that town is filthy, I could never do it). I didn't know if I was impressed or horrified. I've seen a double ended dildo show at Centerfolds in SF. I thought it was bullshit but saw it IRL and bolted. I've seen a girl kick a customer in the face, and sad to say, I've seen a guy attempt to rape a dancer. :(
JLesh1326 karma
Be careful, that place is a shithole, girls charge up to $200 FOR ONE DANCE because you can do whatever you want to them for those 3 minutes. Managers won't do shit about it if you complain either, it's a total racket!
IntrepidStar11 karma
Hey, I like your second proof picture...funny and clever. My question is when you began dancing, was it ever uncomfortable getting "into character" and were you surprised by the types of clients you got?
JLesh1316 karma
I was never a "girlie girl" and never tried to be "sexy" so it was weird for me at first. It took me a week to even ask a guy for a dance. Now I'm so fluid with it that it surprises me NOW who I get... I've danced for a ton of celebrities and big shots, I'm always surprised when they pick me.
IntrepidStar8 karma
That's crazy....congrats on being so talented in your career and good luck with your future business. I can only imagine seeing a celeb in the news and then thinking "Oh hey, I danced for that guy."
JLesh1312 karma
I danced for one major "heart throb" guy the year he got famous and when I tell girls about it they freak the fuck out. Those dances have paid for themselves so. many. times.
JLesh1343 karma
Pff, over $2k. The most I've ever had rain on me personally was $500. You want to see some crazy shit? Throw 2gs in ones on a stage. Girls will dive for that shit like seagulls.
JLesh139 karma
Nope! I come from an upper middle class family, and am really honestly pretty normal. I drink, and smoke cigarettes, but only do both of those things at work. Why spend money on booze when you can get it at work for free? ;) And drugs just don't appeal to me. I respect my body.
cutecottage8 karma
It's interesting you say you came from an upper middle class family. Are class distinctions visible among the dancers to you? If so, above you mentioned that there are 4 types of dancers -- do you notice any patterns about class in the particular types?
JLesh1311 karma
IMO, yes. Generally the 4th type tends to be from a situation with little to no opportunity. The 1st type either tends to be rebelling against daddy or again, from a bad situation. 2 and 3rd is mixed.
mrshernandez099 karma
Do most strippers have fake boobs? Do you prefer to be called an exotic dancer?
JLesh1330 karma
I'd say 50-50. I don't. And I have zero issue being called a stripper. I actually kind of like it. Exotic dancer sounds like I'm a ballerina dancing with a snake around my neck or some shit and that's the furthest thing ever from stripping. ;)
JLesh1318 karma
Like, positive female customer stories? No. Crazy batshit crazy female customer stories? Lots. Or do you mean coworker stories?
bri_pls9 karma
Have you ever ran across some sketchy ass customers? All ears for story time !
JLesh1382 karma
Oh yeah. Without sounding like a racist shitbag, it's always ALWAYS Indian (from India) guys. I once had a guy pay me to pee in a beer bottle for $500. I had the DJ do it. The guy drank it and I LOL'ed at him drinking the DJs pee.
No shocker, this customer was Indian.
bri_pls14 karma
I hear Indians always lather their girls with bucks. That's a little intense that he drank an entire bottle of piss. My BF and I have dappled into golden showers and whatever, but I have never gotten the courage to actually SWALLOW the piss. Also; how does your husband deal with you being a dancer? Obviously he handles it well?
JLesh1325 karma
My husband is a model so we always say we have essentially the same job. When he does a shoot with a female model, they have to act intimate, etc etc. For me, I act like I'm interested I just do it topless. I also do not allow touching of any bikini area (even boobs) so limiting the contact works well. His only request is that I take a shower before bed after work, which I totally understand and have no issue complying with.
As far as Indians, I dislike them so much and have had so many bad experiences that even if they come to ME and ask me to dance for them, I say no. The money isn't worth the goddamn torture you're going to endure.
carl2k17 karma
That is interesting. How about arabs and asians? Any nad experiences with them?
JLesh1323 karma
Asians are hit and miss for me. I'm nearly 5'10", so sometimes I'm too tall for them, even though I'm thin. But the ones I do get, especially Japanese, are very sweet and respectful.
Arabs, I have no problem with them. I had 5 guys from Dubai last week and they were super generous and nice.
JLesh1316 karma
I think it's cultural. Also I think it's because I'm exotic to them.. I'm tall, slender and blonde. They stare a lot, it's really creepy.
carl2k15 karma
What do you mean stare in the club or when you are out im the street on a normal day?
JLesh136 karma
In the club. I don't see many of them in regular life, it's weird. Also when I'm out at home I'm with my husband 99% of the time, and he's big and Slavic so people don't bother me.
TTTT279 karma
Has your job affected the way you relate to men? From your comments it sounds like you deal with a lot of creeps at a strip club and you go to the job with an attitude that you're just there to make a ton of money from them and that's that. Do you shift modes upon leaving work, or is that your how you see people outside the club too?
Also how does your husband view your job? Do you make more money than he does?
JLesh133 karma
It hasn't actually. TBH it's the nature of the questions; 90% of my customers are cool and respectful. I enjoy my job a lot! I was raised by a single father, so men are WAY more comfortable for me than women. And yes, I do shift. "Vanessa" [stage name] lives at the club, JLesh13 lives at home. You have to have some compartmentalisation.
My husband is a model so we sort of view it as a similar job. He has no problem with it as he knows my boundaries, and his only request is that I wash the club off before coming to bed at night. :) And I'd say we make about the same.
Stonerguy8 karma
So my gf just started stripping and we are still trying to set up some boundaries so we are both comfortable with it. Like her texting dudes from the clubs to get some regulars and stuff, not even gonna lie I get jealous over it... At the same time "I understand the game"(lol) Got any tips?
JLesh1324 karma
I never give out my number. EVER. If she wants to do this, get a secondary pre-paid phone. What I did was make a work email, stagename.stripclub@gmail or something. Give them your work email and say you'll email your schedule. Regulars get needy and having them in your real phone will fuck up your day.
ALSO. NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER X10000000 give a customer your real name, even if it's only your first name. It changes the dynamic and it isn't good. It's very hard to explain. But they shouldn't know "GF", they should only know "Stagename", if that makes sense? Do not let them into your private life, AT ALL.
Manaoscola7 karma
whats more important, the money or the fact that you are making someone happy ?
JLesh1312 karma
Well money, of course because a girl needs to eat and I can't do it for free. But I do enjoy most of my customers and it's sweet the way they enjoy the fantasy.

Any tips for getting the best price on a dance?
I'm going to Vegas in a couple weeks for a bachelor party. Thanks for the AMA!
JLesh1316 karma
Dance prices are set by the club. I know Hustler has coupons that they sell along with the admission price which is good for 2 free dances. But, please don't haggle with us. It isn't nice.
JLesh1317 karma
Yes. Honestly, I am very happily married, totally normal OTC. I leave work at work, am mentally stable. Most girls I associate with are like me, but I'm very careful whom I make friends with at work.
If she tells you up front what she does, like first date... this is a GOOD sign. If they try and hide it, run.
JLesh1319 karma
Vanessa. It's easy to say, pretty, customers think it's sexy and I like "V" names.
JLesh1312 karma
HA. Now that's a story. Long story short, I was a waitress at a shitty restaurant. I saw an ad in the paper for a cocktail waitress at a strip club. Went in for the interview, the manager said I was too pretty to waitress and I was going to dance. I told him to go fuck himself. Then I figured I couldn't judge it if I didn't try it, so gave it a go! I actually think it's super fun. I'm outgoing and don't have any body image issues so it's great.

Does the mob have any sort of power in Vegas anymore? I feel like after they 'cracked down' the mobsters just started using the back door instead of coming in through the front.
JLesh139 karma
Once Crazy Horse Too got shut down, that was essentially the end of it in the strip clubs. There are one or two which are owned by "mob", but it's very quiet, really. As far as the other businesses, especially on the Strip, I highly doubt it.
JLesh1333 karma
When I give a dance, I outline the rules immediately, even before I accept payment. I always say "Ok, you can touch my sides, my legs, and my butt if you're gentle. No boobs or downstairs. All right?" I get them to agree and get my money up front.
You get one strike. The first time someone breaks the rules I say "I know it's exciting, but remember you can't do that!" Second time, I walk out, no questions I asked, and I'm taking the money too. I don't tolerate abuse.
Lion_on_the_floor16 karma
I get them to agree and get my money up front.
This might be a silly question, but where do you keep your money?
JLesh134 karma
The big club I carry a clutch, the small one I wear a garter and secure it on my leg with a rubber band.
JLesh139 karma
I think I'm just used to it but unscented deodorant on bikini area after shaving is an old stripper trick that works.

Do you get treated differently by everyday, people on the street. I have been trying to get people to realize that people in certain professions, including strippers, wrongfully get less respect. Is it easy to tell people what you do? When you do do they act differently toward you?
JLesh1315 karma
I'm very, very out. I have no shame in my job. Sometimes, admittedly, I like telling conservative people what I do just to see the shock value on their face. But generally, no. Most people are very cool about it. I'd say I'm treated like an average woman. I think I've had a very charmed experience. I get a lot of "Oh I would have never have guessed!" and "You don't seem like a stripper!" but other than that, my life is normal.
Vazmanian6 karma
Was there anything you wouldn't perform that someone has asked of you? I.e bdsm, domination etc.
JLesh1311 karma
I don't do anything that involves bodily fluids, genital touching, kissing (lips or any part of my body) or guys touching my boobs. HOWEVER. I have had guys ask me, fully clothed, to kick them in the balls. It's actually pretty common. You want me to kick you, yell at you, call you names? That's fine. The stuff I decline is like "Will you make out with me/give me a blow job/ have sex with me/ can I touch your vagina" etc.
DoctorDetroit85 karma
Have you found that stripping makes dancers more or less racist? For example, I know your opinion on Indians, but has your opinion on other races improved or stayed the same? How about for other dancers which you've come across? Thanks,
JLesh1315 karma
Oh more, for sure. You see people at their worst a lot of times and the stereotypes really come out. It's incredible. And I'd say as far as opinions, almost all dancers will give you unanimous opinions on these racist opinions.

$20 for a three minute song, $500 for 20 three minute songs. Does not compute. Do people actually pay that much without expecting at least a blowjob?

Do you also pole dance?
Do you get real booze when we buy you a "drink"?

I like rock music so usually "Counting Bodies Like Sheep to the Rhythm of the War Drums". You can do a really sexy dance to that.
I don't pole dance much as I don't find it increases my money. Also, if I get hurt, I'm sort of fucked.
As far as booze... yes I personally do. But I always order shots, not mixed drinks.

I'd like to see someone dance sexy to A Perfect Circle. Who are some of your favorite artists? Do you have a particular novel you feel is synonymous with your life journey to this point?
JLesh1313 karma
That's actually a good question. I'm halfway through writing my own memoir about stripping because I find all the other ones out there to be fake and pure fluff. It's not all candy floss and cupcakes and dollar bills! So I'd have to say my own.
Favourite artists? I like Deftones, Perfect Circle, Chavelle, also punk rock like NoFX, Dead Kennedys, Operation Ivy etc.. but I dig noisy dubstep too. I'm pretty eclectic. It's funny because people are usually surprised at what I dance to, because I look like a stereotypical Barbie (no fake boobs though!).
Luna_L7 karma
You listen to some good shit! Operation Ivy, Dead Kennedys, Nofx! I'm a chick and never been to a strip club but if you dance to this I'm down!
JLesh138 karma
Awesome! Like I said people are usually kind of WTF because I look like a stereotypical LV Barbie stripper. But that's just for marketability. ;)
JLesh1311 karma
Hell to the no. That place is disgusting. I worked at Centerfolds in North Beach, then when I saw that shit, I went down to Gold Club.
ImSomebodyNow5 karma
How is dancing in Dallas different from Vegas? Dallas is pretty conservative, and I imagine Vegas being looser.
JLesh1313 karma
Dallas is actually dirtier than LV. I had a hard time there competing, especially at places like BabyDolls (shudder) which is almost every girl doing outright prostitution. I was only there 9 months, I couldn't hang.

Thank you for answering questions!
I've never been to a strip club before -- I've just never been especially interested in it. I'm a guy and I love women, but I also have ideas about how I'd prefer to interact with them. So I read this AMA and I have a couple of questions in case I ever do end up in a strip club. I hope you wouldn't mind answering some of them...
At several points in this AMA people have used the words "dirty" and "filthy" to describe a club -- what exactly does that mean? Is it an overall term for illegal activity (and is that just prostitution?), or does it have a specific connotation? Are there things to watch out for?
If I ever am brought to a strip club (say, a good friend has a bachelor party and I feel obligated to go out of politeness/loyalty), what guidelines should I follow without offending anyone if I just generally want to accompany my friend and be left alone myself?
Similarly, how should I behave if my friends buy me a lapdance, or time in a VIP room, and I'm not especially interested?
I know it's silly to ask someone how to behave, but it's something that lies so far outside my life experience that it might be valuable to me one day if you do happen to have any thoughts.
Thank you for your time!
JLesh132 karma
Dirty usually refers to a club with a lot of "extras" aka prostitution services... breast licking, hand jobs, blow jobs and full sex. Some of these clubs even have live sex shows. You can usually tell when a girl is up for these activities by the way she talks to you (also many will rub your dick over your pants while talking) and 90% of the time they wear their hair up... for logistical reasons.
Just tell the girl "Hey, I came here with my buddy and am just enjoying the scenery. Thanks for your time, have a great night." HOWEVER. If you are there, you should AT LEAST tip the stage a few bucks every once in awhile. It isn't a free show and we don't get wages.
If they buy it, just do it. Or let them give the girl the money, go to the lapdance area or VIP room and just talk. I hate this because the dude wants to give me money, and the friend is essentially cockblocking me from making money.

So how are you enjoying this AmA, by far? Has it lived up to your expectations?

How is the relationship with cops? Do they turn a blind eye to somethings or are they very involved?
Do you ever do any work for other clubs in town? I remember some clubs would have contract with girls or they'd have to dance at a club in a casino for a night since there'd be some event or someone's birthday party.
Did they ever finish construction that on that one megaplace across from planet hollywood next to ceasar's?~

I work for two, a megaclub and a smaller club. I go back and forth as I please. The megaclubs are more in with the cops, but when the city needs money or something, they start raiding. It's weird.
No way in hell would I do some horseshit like that. I think the only club that does that is Little Darlings but I can't be certain. Work stays ITC for me, ick.
And yes! The City Center is done. Aria kinda sucks but the Cosmopolitan is super cool.

I remember many stories my step-father used to say about him and his buddies at strip-clubs; given his charisma, I don't doubt him as he says that a few girls (he knows a few club owners and pretty good friends with a few other bouncers, so he was in for the guys, could give a shit about getting a dance) would always try to get him to buy drinks, dances, and such as they ignored his more than willing to pay buddies... Do you have any such customers? Also, one of the bouncers received a text from his GF who told him she just farted on this guy's face (in the nude); do you do this to unpleasant/fugly customer's?
JLesh1311 karma
First of all, ew no. You shouldn't be farting at work at all. I did have a coworker do this though and it's super gross. If I don't like a customer, I just walk away. If they're rude, I tell security. You don't want to upset drunk, unpleasant dudes. It doesn't go well for anyone.
As far as your step dad, it was probably the way he carried himself (if he was charismatic as you say) and the fact that he denied them so much that made them think he was a challenge. Bragging rights and all, you know? I don't waste my time on such things. If in 3 songs a guy hasn't bought a drink, or a dance, I move on. I'm there to make money, not to play mental games with customers or my coworkers.

Do girls ever talk about their clients afterwards or make fun of them?
And I just wanna say I had a trip to Vegas recently, and my friend told me about Spearmint Rhino. It was the best trip of my life and Spearmint was just fantastic. Please keep doing what you're doing. I mean until you save up for bigger and better things.

What would you do if someone pulled a Holden Caufield and hired you just to talk about their feelings?

Do any of your friends/family know of your profession? How did they take it?

I'm very out, everyone knows. I have a single dad, and he basically told me if I was ok with it, respecting my own boundaries and not keeping myself up at night, he was cool with it. My friends, most were great and the ones who got judge-y got kicked to the curb.
JLesh1310 karma
I have and I don't prefer it because on of three things usually happens:
Wife gets drunk and gropes me. Husband does nothing to help me even when I ask her to chill out.
They try to fuck in front of me.
They try to at least get the wife partially naked, like pull her tits out etc.
Good couples are a rare breed. Most girls avoid them. But there are a few who are cool with couples and excel with them.

Yes. Honestly, I am very happily married, totally normal OTC. I leave work at work, am mentally stable. Most girls I associate with are like me, but I'm very careful whom I make friends with at work.
If she tells you up front what she does, like first date... this is a GOOD sign. If they try and hide it, run.
