What's your favorite instrument and what is the one you play best?

I don’t really have a favorite! I love them all. I think I play piano best though.

If you could play your album for anyone in the world - who would you want to perform / share it with ?

Hmm, good question! Probably Avril Lavigne. She’s been my inspiration since day one.

Who are your musical influences?

Avril Lavigne, Christina Grimmie, Olivia Rodrigo, Shawn Mendes, Sleeping With Sirens and Linkin Park.

How was the lunar eclipse tonight?

It was incredible!

Heard it would be a particularly killer view of it in Florida. Who's your most influential musician from the 90s? I'd have to say John Frusciante myself.

As you move forward with song writing, what is your song writing philosophy?

I went and watched a lot of your videos on youtube. I think you have a great voice. In your song 'to whom it may concern' from the full EP on your channel, at the 3:20 mark of that song, the transition was awesome. I think that's the kind of stuff the really gets people to pay attention and listen.

I think one of the hardest parts for singer songwriters is that people can't sing along if the artist goes all out vocally on the chorus so they seem to reverse it. Like the chorus is something people can sing along to and then the other verses they go hard.

Don’t be afraid to show your emotions. I think that’s the best thing you can do.

And that makes sense, I try to make the words in my songs be as clear as possible. I love when people bring out their vocals, but sometimes it can be a bit too much.

Why are green jelly beans your passion?

Fun fact: I hate green jelly beans. Red jelly beans are superior.

What made you decide to become an artist?

Well, I’ve always loved singing and performing my own “concerts” in front of my parents since I was a kid. However, after my parents split when I was 11, me and my mom moved from Arkansas to Florida. Keeping in touch with my dad was pretty difficult and letters could never arrive fast enough. So to keep the communication alive, I just grabbed my old iPod one day and made YouTube singing videos. I sent my dad the links so he could listen, as I was always so used to singing for him. Then eventually my whole high school found out, and the rest is history, lol.

What keep you motivated?

The concept of time. My parents being supportive. Believing that maybe my music will help someone someday.

Would you consider riding an alligator while playing the banjo/guitar in your next music video? And if not how do we know your from Florida?

Heck yeah, I’d be down for it 100%. Bring that alligator and banjo my way.
