My startup needs a logo, business cards, and letterhead. Plus everything for the website. We want something that says "innovation" and "cool" but is still strong and reliable. I sort of like that blue, you know the one on movie posters?

How long does it take to make a children's picture book thing? Also, draw the meaning of life.

This is the first book I'm releasing by myself, but the process is a little easier for me since I'm both writing and illustrating. At this stage, I've spent about 3 months on the book, and I'm estimating 2 more to finish it out.

The hard part (for me) is coming up with the concept and first draft. Everything else has been fun so far!

After doing illustration and design work for other clients for a number of years, I wanted to try something for myself. I came up with the concept for Toucan Play earlier this year and decided to run with it. So far, so good!

Not exactly a drawing request but this is AMA so im gonna ask :P

Im going to school to be a graphic designer in about a month, are you already graduated? If so, how has finding a job been? Have you chosen to move locations for job oppurunties? I hope to move west or to the Carolinas (USA) after college but am not sure how the markets are.

I graduated in '06 with a BFA in Studio Art, Graphic Design emphasis. It took a few months, but I found a in-house job doing design work for a company in NC.

Job availability will vary depending on location, but if you have a strong portfolio, you shouldn't have too much trouble finding one.

Hi! Thank you so much for doing this! Do you ever get bored of drawing? I know when I have to do a drawing for art class (which sometimes takes up to three hours for one worth 15 marks), I need to struggle to focus for so long. Do you ever find this happening to you? Also, could you please draw me a kitten with a pilot's hat on? The leather ones with a strap of either side of the face (I think snoopy might have worn one when he was the Red Baron.)

Like anything else, I go through tough phases and awesome phases. If I'm in a rut, I'll browse Google images for inspiration.
