That is what I was thinking. I meant to say that as a general rule tail daggers seem to be better all around bush planes. Sorry for the confusion.

I don't have any questions, just want to say that everyone was damn lucky, and if one can walk away from a crash like that, it's a good day. I'm sure the fact that everyone survived is due in no small part to your skills.

I'm not saying that the crash wasn't his fault, I can see how one would see that. Just saying that the reason they survived might have played into his reaction as well. Muscle memory is a thing and it can save your ass.
