How do you know exactly what it's like to be a 13 year old girl?!? Saw the movie and loved it, congrats. I cried. A lot!

You really did a great job. It took me right back to that age despite there not being social media then. And I related to Kayla now as a 30 year old as well. It felt so honest and real. I'm just joking when I say how did you know what it's like to be a 13 year old girl, because you did such a great job of understanding and portraying her as a human which is (surprisingly) quite rare.
