I'm a -8.5 too! Since about 3rd grade, 28 now. Still weighing my risks/benefits but strongly thinking about lasik. would love to be able to open my eyes underwater!!

Oh, just Bc I'm always worried my contacts would float out! Haha. And I'm not sure compared to other countries but I am severely nearsighted. If I don't have my contacts in/glasses on, most things are just shapes and colors until they are very close, text is a no go unless it's right in front of my face. Are you the same??

true story! I went to UofH - at one point it boasted (not sure if it still does) the largest amount of different foreign languages spoken on one campus in the US.

Flush em! But my cousin works in waste water, and he told me eventually they get pulled out of the screens that block debris, put into a concrete block with all the other fun stuff like popcorn shells and watermelon seeds, and then bury it in the desert. So end result is basically the same.
