As long as our population wants these benefits to continue you can be assured that our legislators will make appropriate adjustments to maintain the program.

edit: Sorry that was flippant. What I meant to say is that you may say I can be assured the lawmakers will do what we want, but I don't put much faith in them to actually do what we want.
