You went to your ex wife's?

That's quite odd. Here in Australia, at least where I live, the private and religious schools are as bad, and sometimes worse than the public schools.

Although I dunno the whole funding system behind the schools here, I live in a poorer area than most (this does not reflect my economic status, I'm more middle class than anything) however my sisters went to a public school in this area. They actually had a great schooling life and both got into the courses they wanted. However I hear all these stories about serious drug problems and rape allegations (fair dinkum) from all of the private schools in my area. I always assumed it was because the rich kids wanted to push boundaries, but after finding a new friend who went to one of these schools, they're all pretty much "rich bogans"

I find it very interesting how drastically different high schools are in different countries on a social level (not so much the way they work but how the people interact differently)
