Hey guys, awesome stuff you're doing. I'm working on starting up a home gardening business, and I was wondering what your perspective was on Aquaponics. Is this a viable option for making food at home? Any insight you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

My interest is in catering to current home gardeners, and transition them to "Foodscapers", rather than traditional ornamental gardening. There are a number of systems that I've seen that are cookie cutter, and while I'm interested in fabrication eventually, I was wondering if there's a specific company or startup that is on the cutting edge, pushing the boundaries, etc.

I know Shigeharu Shimamura is making waves with his indoor farming in Japan, are we doing anything even close here, or not because of a lack of interest, investment, or some other factors? What do you think those factors might be?
