I have a copy of the book "Hacker, Hoaxer, Whistleblower, Spy - The Many Faces of Anonymous" by Gabriella Coleman. Have you read it, and if so, was there anything in it that you disagreed with, thought the author got wrong, or think needs clarification or other input?

Full disclosure, I haven't read the book yet, but I'll keep any feedback of yours in mind when I do.

If you haven't read it, I could mail you my copy. If it's not garbage I'd be thrilled to get it back with a signature in it, but no pressure whatsoever.

That's wonderful to hear. I bought the book on sale for very cheap, and hadn't known what to make of it. I have a bad habit of impulse buying books and not making time to read them right away. Your response has given me significant confidence in the books contents, and I've moved it from "I'll read this eventually" to "I will be reading this very soon".

I'm not OP but I strongly urge you to look into Qubes and Whonix. Read the documentation for both.

You can't do much about erasing what's already out there. Best you can do is to spend time researching yourself to see what an adversary may find, and make sure you distance yourself from whatever identifiable info there is.
