If I thought they were going to keep the card, I'd put porn on it.

Does the vicodin: stop the pain, lessen the pain, or make you not care about the pain?
I kinda get the impression that it lessens and makes you care less about the pain.
How do you feel on muscle relaxers, have you tried flexerol or similar?
When I had nerve pain, from a back injury, the vicodin didn't touch the pain, just my perception of it. The flexerall made the pain much more tolerable as it relaxed the muscles that were bearing down on the nerve.
Any MRIs to look for a pinched nerve?

I'm sure you already know these things
I'm sure he does. I see how you interpreted:
I know they are concerned about parental concerns of exposing their sons to overnights with someone who might have joined the Scouts for the wrong reason.
But I think you are confusing the messenger with the message.
In my troop there are many parents that are concerned about this possible change to scouting, many wrongfully assume that gay=predator. It doesn't. The national council has confirmed many times that the issue of homosexuality in scouting has never been a concern about predators. IIRC, pedophilia is found at a lower rate in gay men then in straight men (but I don't have a citation for that right now.)
He was just saying that the national council recognizes that there are parents who are (wrongfully) concerned about this. Not that he himself is concerned about gay people. I am an Eagle scout, a parent, a volunteer, and next in line to be scoutmaster in the next 24 months. I welcome the change to scouting because it is the right change to make as decent human beings.

Glad it worked out for you. I am an American and am scheduled for a lumbar MRI for a possible bulged disc in less than four hours. The cost will be $2100 for the scan and $633 for some one to read it. I am suffering great leg pain for five weeks, it has changed my perspective on life. I have a list of simple things written out to do with my wife and kids when I am pain free again. Include go for walks, play more with my kids, take them on bike rides, and go to the beach and swim with them.
Has this experience changed your outlook on life and your choice of activities?
