OP, don't let the dickhead naysayers of Reddit bother you. It's tempting for some people, after spending enough time on here, to want to cry "FAKE!" about everything. I am really saddened by your family's story. That's a fucking tough situation that your dad got put in - and the main point is that 3 life sentences for a non-violent crime is absurd and unjust. He never denied that what he did was wrong - and certainly does not deserve to spend the rest of his life paying for that mistake.
