This wouldn't be a bad explanation, but if the smell is consistent when Commander Kelly returns from an EVA (or anyone else, for that matter), then there's no hot metal to generate that smell - certain equipment gets hot, but that's what radiators are for. I've seen the "burning metal"/metallic description a few times from other astronauts as well. Quite interesting.

Have you noticed changes in your musical tastes over the years? Do you have an idea of the style you're going for in your next album, and beyond?
