Do you exercise? What sort of physical activities do you do? Where do you work, and do you need any accommodations there?

Hey! Have you guys tried constraint induced movement therapy (CIMT)? The place where I go to therapy has a very successful constraint program for hemi kids. The basic idea is to cast the hand that works normally so the kid can't use it, and they have to work on using their other arm. This is especially useful for a kid who never had use of that arm, helping them to recognize that it exists. A lot of the big pediatric rehab places have these programs I think. At ours, they even get special casts that can go in water so they can do aquatic therapy. Good luck!

Sounds like he didn't have DBS, he had a resection of scar tissue that was causing the seizures after the first surgery for an internal EEG with electrodes laid on the brain.

My dads a neuropsychologist. His undergraduate degree is in architecture. I wouldn't focus too much on the actual degree- just make sure you have the prerequisites done for grad school and study anything you want!
Also, make sure you understand the difference between neuropsychology and neuropsychiatry. Neuropsychologists have a PhD, not an MD. The majority of the work my dad does is in testing people with disabilities/injuries to assess their level of function and ability to work. He does not prescribe medication, etc.
