what is your recommendation for LP members and GJ supporters in rural areas to help spread the message? going door to door isn't really a viable option, especially when trespassing on private property just to get to said door is not only wrong, but liable to get you shot at. ;)

I understand that, in an attempt to limit government (which I'm all for), you desire to stop/do away with social programs such as SNAP, TANF, etc. Realizing that there are legitimate people who use these benefits for temporary assistance, would you be opposed to reforming the programs instead of completely removing them?

Also, seeing as we are one of only two countries in the world (Papa New Guinea being the other) that has absolutely NO paid parental leave; and seeing as how studies have shown that countries with paid maternal leave (at a minimum) of 14+ weeks have positive effects on GDP and national productivity as well as prenatal & postnatal care, increased wages, less leave taken by parents, and greater job security; and seeing as it can be paid for privately (the company is mandated to absorb the costs), publicly (payroll taxes), or a mix thereof; and while realizing that neither of those options fall in line with libertarian principals...

would you support legislation that, at a minimum, encouraged companies to offer paid parental leave? if not, what is your suggestion to alleviate the financial burden of dual-income families while also preserving the health and welfare of our newborn citizens?
