Hi Gabriela! Thanks for doing this AMA! I saw Blackfish twice and recommended it to my boyfriend, whose favorite animal is the killer whale, and he loved the documentary as well. Definitely very chilling. We're both film students, and both very excited that you were doing this AMA.

Here are some questions I have:

What was your process for the graphic content and what to include? I'm curious about whether you cherry picked certain clips of captive orca attacks, or if you used all that was available?

In terms of your general film career, did you have any struggles as a woman film-maker in a predominantly male industry?

I heard that the directors of Finding Dory changed significant parts of their film because of Blackfish. Did they speak directly with you and/or the Seaworld trainers about their script? How did that go about?
