I've heard of guys pooling money together to buy fancy cars, watches etc. for project managers to keep getting work. Have you had any experience with this?

Well sat divers over here are on a minimum of £1500 per day, with some on £2500 per day depending on their tickets/quals. So they can essentially walk away with £45000 - 80000 for a months work. Like OP has said, sometimes there's months in between jobs, so while it's amazing pay, if you're only working 2 or 3 trips a year, it's not that (relatively) great.

So I've spoken to some sat divers and they've said that sometimes a group of them would try and sweeten their chances of getting more work, they'd pool in and essentially bribe the recruiter/ project manager with fancy stuff. If you're guaranteed another 2 trips, throwing a few grand is fuck all.

Can I get a NDT job with you guys? I'm currently doing cargo tanks and wbts and I'm fed up with being dirty.

Tbf I live in Ireland and don't really want to move. It was the first time a comment was relevant to my job so I wanted to join in on the fun.
