He was amazing in the car in terms of being a driver but apparently he could be very difficult to work with. He knew exactly what we wanted and how he wanted it etc, famous Germanic directness (I know he's Austrian but the trait applies to most German speakers really) and just not the warmest guy to deal with. But also fantastic at what he did and very on the ball and it sounds like a nice guy outside of his professional life or once you built a rapport with him too.

Reddit is way too harsh on that Simpsons AMA, sure it would be nice if he was as much of a classic Simpsons geek as us and Reddit would love him for it but the guy isn't even the writer and he likely doesn't rewatch episodes. These references are things someone else wrote that he directed decades ago that he's likely very rarely come across since. Some of his answers were actually pretty interesting and decent but since he's not a references geek reddit decides he's the worst - I personally think it would be fucking terrible if it was just reddit throwing a bunch of references at him and him replying in kind but a lot of people around here seem to enjoy that shit. I already know the lines, I don't need a guy who was involved in the show to repeat them.

I think throughout history you wouldn't find too many honest football (soccer) lovers who would disagree with that statement. At any given point in time it might not have been true (it's not now although Neymar is rising fast) but over the full spread it's probably right. Brazil are that little bit extra special when it comes to international football even if quite weak by their high standards at the moment.

Pretty much nothing, he has a handful of credits to his name and they're all smaller things not many people have seen and for the most part bit parts too. Maybe people who know Jack Gleeson in real life say he's lovely but he didn't have that reputation (or any real reputation) before starring as Joffrey.

I think it's pretty damn widely considered at this point that he did and got away with it. Even made his ^if "I did it" book a while back to get some money out of it.

I don't think you'll find many people still arguing his innocence today. It'll never be 100% proven but he totally did it...
