I'm about to graduate with a degree in mechanical engineering and have a few questions.

How have you managed to balance having a family and children with also having a strong career? I'm constantly being told by my male and female peers that I'll have to chose one or the other, not both.

Also, how have you dealt with being looked down upon or underestimated simply for being female? Or even straight up sexual harassment? I worked an internship in manufacturing last summer and I dealt with a lot of this, mostly from the union workers on the factory floor. I definitely wasn't prepared for that and had no idea how to handle it.
