Kind of how Oregon is. It’s very hard to prove someone on their death bed is not depressed or having suicidal thoughts because it’s not uncommon for someone suffering to want to be dead. People travel to Oregon for it as well

Doctors are infamous for calling for a CT for every little issue so it’s interesting to see people say the opposite. There have been problems where doctors will order a CT before doing a physical exam because:

  1. They have no time because their doctor to patient ratio is shit.

  2. They are liable if anyone dies because they order an xray instead of a ct and miss something.

So now patient radiation dose rates are double what they used to be. The issue with MRIs is pretty much every single insurance company will require you get a CT first because MRIs are so expensive. So even if you’re looking for ligament or muscle damage, you still need a CT first.

The fact that doctors are talked about in here as if they don’t order enough imaging procedures is very strange because it’s literally the opposite of a problem in most cases in the U.S.

As I was heading back upstairs, I apologized to the head cop, “I’m really sorry we wasted your time today.” He replied, “You were trying to do a funny thing. I understand, but we had to do something.”

This is so awesome
