In movies, the school bus picks up and drops off kids at their house. This is a movie thing, school bus drivers don't really do that, right?

Oh. Here in Germany, school buses pick kids up at some place in their town or village.

Wow, I did not expect this. Was one of your parents in the Army? Or did you simply move to the US from Germany?
