can you see video on the piece of glass? Is there any color on what pops up on the screen. Other than pictures and videos, does it really seem like a worthy purchase?

This has to do you with you being a senior writer at Guitar World

I've been doing music journalism for 5 years now with blogs and such writing about the punk scene, and it's been truly incredible. But, guitars are my main passion in life. I love playing at them, looking at them, learning about them, the history, everything. How do I transfer what I've done so far as a band interviewer into writing for Guitar World, or a publication of it's nature?

I'd like to do Q and A's with builders, pickup manufactures and large store owners (think Chicago Music Exchange, Music Zoo). I think there is a focus too much on the musician in those magazines sometime instead of the industry itself. Botique guitars are becoming so much more mainstream, and yet you rarely see much of them covered. How does GW deal with pitches? Writers without journalism degrees? Is it a seriously competitive market for writing? What should I do to separate myself from other pitcher's?

What was your reaction when Weeds started taking that really dark turn? When you signed on were you aware of where the show was going, or did it naturally turn into that?
