We cut sling load on that effort and just went straight to the marines and asked what they needed.

Hawaiian airlines did something similar to us - didn't lose our dog, but the message never made it from Hawaii to LAX that there was a dog on the plane.

When my mother-in-law went to pick her up, they told her there was no dog, and it took a few hours of back and forth before someone showed up with our pet.
