Having read the books...way too many times...I think Dirk is a character that deliberately refuses to be defined. So the answer to all your questions about him is: Yes. And no. And perhaps.

I think The Unusuals is my favorite of your roles, and I've noticed you've been a busy bunny over the years, showing up in all sorts of interesting roles. I'm sorry that one didn't get to go on longer, too. I've introduced it to several other people, all of whom got to the last episode and cried, "Wait, that's all there is?!" I'm 42 this year and am often reminded of poor Leo.

There is no way for me to fully express my appreciation that WFH means I don't have to be assaulted by the cologne Tim spilled on his shirt, the perfume Jen apparently bathed in, Derek's vodka sweat, or Amy's garlic breath. Or whatever stench is coming out of the scented candle/essential oil diffuser that Liz is absolutely not supposed to have at her desk.

And I have intermittent anosmia due to allergies. I can't imagine what it must be like for someone with an acute sense of smell.

FYI Wixela is a generic version of Advair.

The best ways to control the cat dander that most people are allergic to is to brush and clean your cat(s) regularly. You can bathe cats, but generally speaking it's not a great idea. You're better off using cat cleaning wipes.

Allergy shots, in my experience, are well worth pursuing.
