Please let me start by saying I have much respect for Mr. Glauben. But I Just hope you (dragonflygrrl) and others know the difference between a Nazi and German soldiers/German civilians at the time. Because there was a big difference. A true Nazi was someone who was a Party member.....the SS, SA, NSDAP etc etc. Most German soldiers were not party members and most were not horrible people, trust me. I speak with many German Vets of the Wehrmacht, and not one of them believed in Hitler or his ideologies, but in fact the opposite, yet could do nothing about it. Most said at one point or another during their service, they had much pride for their nation, but not for Hitler/etc. These are men who went through the Hitler Youth and everything, and still just did these things because "it was the German thing to do" at the time, similar to our boy scouts. Please learn the differences between the German organizations of ww2.....and you will see that not all Germans of the time period were what you think of as Nazis. But I do agree that any guilty Nazi camp guard or war criminal found these days should be brought to justice in proper form.

she noted this in her docu-series if u watched it, when talking about copyrights I think. I believe she said that without the backup of the "copyright office in Washington", the website owners normally do not take the images down. You have a better case in court if u have the copyright, is what I gained from the videos.

Somewhat off topic.....I collect ww2 photos (pre 1945) (most very expensive), and there are debates over copyright issues all the time on our collecting forums. Do we as the current owners of the original photo have the copyright automatically, as the photo taker is possibly deceased? I have had people take my scans of photos I own, and try to resell them on Ebay as originals photos, profiting off a photo that is both counterfeited and not their own. On the other hand, I have had to sign documents when donating scans of my photos to book Authors, saying I give permission to the Author and publishing firm to use the image in a specific book. Copyright of images after posted to the internet is a controversial topic, no matter the subject it seems.

that's awesome. I truly wish I could donate, and will try to remember when I start work again when this snow goes away! Best of luck....it's people like you who make me think their are still good people in this world. I was really upset when my mouse died, and people were like "its just a mouse man".....but it doesn't matter the size of the animal to me....they all have personality traits!
