someone I know claimed their homeowners insurance threatened to drop them if they did not completely re-stucco the outside of their house. Yeah there are a few cracks, but in no way is it falling apart or in need of replacement. Does this sound like something an insurance company would do, or is this person probably lying to me?

thanks anyway. it's my neighbors who have been doing construction on their house for over a year now with no end in sight. they keep changing their plans around and having to hire new contractors because their craziness is running off everybody their hire. She told me about their insurance threatening to drop them and i was like "Um... i have never heard of something like that for a house that is in good-but-not-great shape."
