Are some of the rules still as ridiculous as when I worked there a few years ago? I distinctly remember being told that hair wasn't allowed to be dyed under any circumstances, and we could be fired if it was, because "seeing someone with a pink streak in their hair is a bad influence on children".

Nope! No denim shirt - an ungodly amount of khaki/stone coloured trousers, but I escaped the denim shirts, thank god!

Ah, we never needed a belt, and I was always in one of the special seasonal t-shirts haha. Seems like we were quite relaxed with the rules!

"He was so young and uninformed at the time that he never actually knew where he was when they gave him the tattoo. All he knew is that the KL stood for "konzentrazionslager" which is German for "Conentration Camp". This past weekend he found out that he was given the tattoo in the Mielecz concentration camp. He was also told that, in total, only about 1500 people were given this specific tattoo and of those, only between 41 and 60 survived the war. His story is quite a bit longer than that, though. One of these days I will have to write up a brief account of his story or get him to do an AMA."
OP posted that when he first posted his grandad's photo on here.
