I might get surgery and have one of these later this year, how big is the risk for a surgery of this kind?

Thanks for the reply. I have no lens or iris in one of my eyes, it was removed shortly after birth because of issues with the connective tissue. I think I had my eye cut open twice back then, over 20 years ago.
