Does the FEC say what should happen when the money doesn't go to one of these options?

I suppose I'm concerned with the idea that this will be reported, and the numbers and facts are there, but who will enforce in this case?

But because it's the FEC then the change must come from congress...

so are we stuck back in a loop of self-regulation until people forget?

Why can't you upset readers?

I mean from a business point I understand that there is a fear of someone picking up a paper or online aerials and just going "oh fuck these guys I didn't want to see this... UNSUBSCRIBE!"

But shouldn't people BE upset? And alluding to the original question, does it address the "this is fake" crowd that is absurdly large?

I feel like journalistic responsibility is supposed to report "what happened" and over the years that is being discredited for not enough proof. At what point does it turn into: "welp here is photo evidence, trust us yet?"

Lol. That requires informed voters in local elections. No one "bothers" with the local elections except the elderly and bored.

I think we'll see it when all the deferred loans and rents come due and people realize they owe the full amount instead of it being a hall pass.

If anything, insurance companies paying death benefits and families investing it may be the thing that keeps it all afloat, though.
