In your podcasts and books, you go down a lot of "rabbit holes" with stories. How/when do you decide to cut your losses with a story that isn't working out?

You've written pretty extensively about how non-profit universities should start paying taxes. The counter-argument I've seen to this is that most research is publicly funded, and this would essentially just be giving universities money just to take it back. Do you think that's a fair/accurate characterization?
