What did "coming back" feel like? Was it like waking up from a deep sleep?

I've thought alot about how death and sleep would be similar. Idk if you've ever had those nights where you dont dream, and when you think about it the next morning, all you can remember is blackness. Maybe that's what death is, but maybe you'd start to notice the blackness over time since it would be for eternity.
