What's would be the best macronutrient ratio for losing fat and gaining mass at the same time. I've heard a lot about 40%protein 40%carbs and 20%fat in total calories. I'm 6' 200lbs I have a small amount of muscle but if I had to guess I'd say around 25% body fat.
Is it impossible to gain weight if you are in a caloric deficit? Some of my friends say bread blah blah blah turns instantly into fat, but if you're resting calorie burning rate +cardio calories burned exceeds your consumption, it seems logically impossible that that would be true.
I had surgery a few years ago on my left shoulder. My left arm is way behind in size and strength. I've only been working out for 9 weeks now, how can I catch it back up and how long will it take to become similar in size so I can be concerned if I see no progression?
