Have you ever had to deal with a military escort? (As in the case of an emergency) if so, how different is comms proceedure with them when compared to civillian traffic?

Thanks for you answer, I was curious as I happen to live in the vicinity of one of the two designated emergency airports, so I occasionally get a pair of Typhoons thundering over my house.

Lauren, a good few years back I read an article on a website... I think it was Jezebel come to think of it, where the writer tells a story of absolutely lamblasting a friend of her roomate for calling her 'pretty'. I mean she really tore him a new one. Virtually all of the comments below cheerled the writer and patted her on the back for doing that. How do you feel about that? Would you be offended if someone commented postively on your appearance?

I was always raised to be nice to women, including where appropriate, complimenting them on their appearance (while still remaining respectful.) This emerging attitude is extremely unsettling for me.
