The 80s had its good points as well as its bad. We saw the TV commercials for D&D, the print ads in comics, the game being featured in the Sears Christmas catalog and other non-traditional outlets--not to mention the rise of the other game companies like FASA and Steve Jackson Games. To my mind it was as much a good time as a bad one.

Do you have a favorite character that you played in D&D? What about in other games and genres?

Commander Grayson mentioned a ship called the Chanute at the end of the first episode. May we also expect ships named the Bleriot, the Curtiss, the Lillienthal, and the Beachey?
(But not the Langley. That one crashed on takeoff. Twice.)
