What do you think of the Gnostic doctrine? I recently learned of it, and am curious what the catholic reception of it is.

As a human being, with a modicum of knowledge about the destructive power of the nuclear arsenal of the United States, do you not find it highly immoral and inhuman that we have assigned the power to destroy the planet and all things that inhabit it to one man, with no oversight?
