Get schooled by any other ten year old girls lately?
All joking aside, I'm a huge fan. Thanks for doing this AMA.

Hi, I know you guys did this yesterday, but hoping you would check in again later. I am pro-choice as well as pro-adoption, so please don't take this question to be anything other than curiosity. If you are pregnant with a fetus confirmed to have CF, I still support your choice to carry to term or to terminate. Your choice.
Would it be cheaper to develop and subsidize better tests to detect CF in utero and eradicate these genetic mutations from future generations? Children and adults living with CF should, of course, receive whatever medicine is required for maintaining quality of life at a reasonable rate, but wouldn't it be easier to screen pregnancies in carrier couples?
CFF.org cites that there are approximately 30,000 people in the US living with CF and that chances of two carriers producing a pregnancy with CF is 25%, which means that there are about 120,000 pregnancies between two people who are both carriers, rolling the dice on each conception that their child might fall into the lucky 25% who do not have any CF mutation, or maybe would be only a carrier at 50% chance.
Genetic counseling prior to conception would also be helpful for those who might be carriers and would not agree with abortion.

Now I'm curious why is it that only the Chinese remain untrustworthy in your opinion. Do you have any Chinese acquaintances or friends? Do your family members have Chinese friends? How would you feel if your child or grandchild wanted to marry a Chinese person?
