The 3-10 is actually a relatively easy split.

You learn karate so you don't need to use karate and you own a gun so you don't need to shoot a gun.

Not original guy you asked but if you are curious for more than one opinion, the short answer I give is that I want someone who will fight for things that work great rather than for things that sound great.

It would be nice to see someone actually fight to reduce the government in size and power instead of just making it grow a bit slower than the Dems want.

Cruz and Rand are the only two legit small government candidates with political experience and Cruz seems smarter and to have given a broader range of subjects significant thoughts than Rand who might not have even been able to run if not for his dad's previous attempts.

You are wrong that "only" Muslims are scrutinized (http://www.cnn.com/2015/12/08/politics/visa-waiver-program-house/) and it is terrible, terrible logic that you can't do something about Large Problem A if you don't also do something at the same time about Medium Problem B and Little Problems C, D, and E.

Not a spokesman for the Tea Party of GOP but eminent domain can be legitimate. You don't here much about it when it comes to things like roads and utilities. And while the current plan my or may not use the best route, the key difference is environmentalists are against tar sands (and several other energy sources) in general.

If you really wanted Tea Party or GOP support you'd need an alternative pipeline route and it seems pretty clear your group is against any pipeline going anywhere.
