That is absolutely terrifying - what a horrifying thought, to be positive you're about to die and absolutely helpless to do anything but observe. You mention your physical trauma, but do you have emotional/psychological trauma from that experience?

For what it's worth, I have a friend who was born without hands and has only one leg. He has a prosthesis for the other leg and walks around just fine (except for the one time we all had too much to drink and his leg's knee snapped the other way and he collapsed to the ground and we all laughed, but I digress). He types on his computer, writes, etc. and has the absolute darkest humor of anyone I've ever met (asking him how he lost his hands will result in a serious tale about a bear attack). He's a fantastic person, not because of or in spite of his physical limitations, but because of who he is.

Sorry, didn't mean to hijack this particular comment and respond. But . . . best wishes to you. You reminded me sorely of my friend and I just wanted to share.

So . . . what is the official pluralization of "dildo"?

Is it "dildoes"? Or is it like the plural of "fish" in that it stays the same? One dildo, two dildo, three dildo, etc.
