Man, that last sentence got me. : (

I had a friend like this in school too. We went to the same school for 11 years, so everyone in our level knew that she only spoke to a select few. We eventually ended up in the same class and she sat next to me for awhile. She wrote a note to me and asked me for my number, so the first time I actually heard her voice was over the phone

I'm not sure if she was ever diagnosed with SM, but everyone just assumed she was extremely shy because she was actually a very chatty person once she started talking to you.

Just had my logic board on my late 2011 15" MBP replaced too. It's the 3rd time I've sent my MBP in for repair, 2nd time I've had the logic board replaced, and I hope it'll be the last. My 2007 aluminum MacBook doesn't even have as many issues.
