Like trends towards victims of war/disaster, or beauty/fame, etc... that are influenced by generational priorities? I suspect in some points in time photographers are influenced by what society wants to see and at others time what they need to see.

I work a crazy tech job that results in over indulgence in coffee fairly regularly, combined with a lack of sleep and high stress. Sometimes I feel like I've messed things up long term for my gut, as eating can be a struggle and there's constant discomfort. Do I simply need to work out my life balance, or can I damage the happy balance in my gut long term?
