I'm a doctor in the UK, currently an SHO in acute medicine but starting GP training next month. What in your opinion is the most important thing I can do in GP for my trans patients and helping them access the care they need? From my limited experience (in the North West, incidentally) it seems like it can be quite a battle to access care, especially for the younger trans people.

I can barely turn around to close the door in a Ryanair 737 bathroom (or on a BA or EasyJet Airbus, for that matter). I'm 6'2 (185cm?) and quite broad, but not too huge. How some passengers fit I really don't know.

Like many airlines, that charge you if you choose your seat. Even British Airways charge if you're choosing before checkin, and not high up enough a frequent flyer or flying in a premium cabin.

How bad are Ryanair to their staff? I'd heard that they make you pay for your own uniform, training, etc and that they work you to the bone, and didn't even let you charge your phones at work, but I don't know if that was all just the media trying to make shit up or if it's true, or if it was true and is now better.

Seriously, this sounds shit. All I can say is: why do Americans put up with this? I'm at medical school, and will graduate with about £50,000 debt (~$80k I think) and that's considered quite a lot. And if I don't pay it all off in time, then it's wiped. Our student loans aren't considered to be like any other loan. They come straight out of your pay cheque, and don't affect being able to get any other loan. And currently the interest rate is 1.5%. If you have the money, it's worth getting the loan anyway, and banking the cash, because you'll get a better rate from a savings account.
