Have you ever considered of visiting Vietnam nowadays?

I forgot to interject that I am a Vietnamese myself, and an avid gamer too, just that I don't work in game dev directly.

I have seen many Vietnamese game studios come and go, the strongest remaining are usually those who commit to outsourcing deal. It's a great utilization of the talent pool, but the products are catered to other markets, not to the Vietnamese consumers themselves.

I have been working with game developers and publishers around the world to promote our market through localization, but so far it hasn't been quite fruitful. Vietnamese gamers still have to rely on Youtube guides or Vietnamese translation mods that are created by amateur translation groups, which would say something about this potential market.

Has Vietnam ever been your target market? I work in software L10N and it's sad that game developers still ignore this growing market :(
