Is there anything you would want parents of kids with facial differences to know? My 8 month old has a long life of looking different ahead of him and I've got no idea what to do. My best plan so far is to treat him no differently than any other kid. Pointers?

that settles it. At 2am i'm heading to the ER with my brand new couch.

he has quite a few, but most apparent is facial paralysis from a brain tumor that is affecting his 7th and 12th facial nerves. we can tell when he's smiling on the inside but if you don't know him it just looks like he's scowling or indifferent all the time.
