What are the chances that the United states ends the war on drugs by 2020?

for real??? That's all?? Chairman Mao is considered the most brutal dictator in history by our standards. the "cultural revolution" your defending is described by some historians as "the worst catastrophe the world has ever known" 55 million possibly dead in the name of a "Great Leap Forward." All Mao did was kill off enough people to maintain control might as well call it "the cultural purge."

Mao killed more Chinese people than genghis khan

Once Mao was dead progress started to be made and the conversation turned towards individual rights.

How does it feel to be so blatantly on the wrong side of history?

Edit: I'm not saying maos Revolution and the Great Leap Forward are the same thing I know they are different, but one leads to the other. Im just saying you might as well call it that because that's what the revolution was a purging of intellectuals and others in order to "'move forward" There was good mr.again clarified enough?

What is the ACLU doing about ending the war on drugs??

In my opinion the war on drugs or prohibition of drugs that the United states has experienced over the last 120 years is what has created this mess: mass incarceration, police brutality, civil unrest.

Does the ACLU recognize that the war on drugs has a lot of unintended consequences for, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? If yes, what are those positions and how is the ACLU going about educating the public on this issue?

like others have pointed out it's not every religion, however political and religious dogma are eerily similar.

I agree she is very non-chalant about the whole ordeal (cough one of the larger genocides in human history.) Im from the south I guess I can compare how she feels about the cultural revolution in China to how some southerners still feel about the civil war "lost cause." None of Maos goals were achieved in his lifetime besides violence I bet if Mao could see what China has become he would not like it, you know all the "evil capitalism." Just like if Karl Marx could see what communism looks like in practice he would probably not have written his manifesto.
