What are some of your tips for cleaning image sensors and lenses? I get scared if I ever have to go near my sensor, and I've read a lot of different suggestions.

Also, what advice do you have for cleaning sensors if you're shooting in the field and have no proper cleaning tools with you?

I shoot in pretty rough conditions and I have the new Sony alpha 7s, which is mirrorless so there's just so little protecting the lens (like a mirror) out there in the field. I got some dirt on it that air just couldn't deal with, so i gave it a few gentle touches with a Tiffen lens tissue.

Don't think I could do your job - I'm reduced to a bundle of nerves any time I have to go anywhere near a sensor. I can never seem to get a perfect clean on lenses either - it always seems like that 'out damn spot' scene from Macbeth.
