What’s the craziest fault you found that helped a client?

I’m reminded of the faulty spring in the ignition that a forensic investigation of a car that caused the electric steering to shut down and caused a girl to swerve into oncoming traffic resulting in her death. She had been assumed as just being a negligent driver but her dad believed otherwise and hired the forensic investigator.

I was thinking it was because they wanted money.

I am a carpenter. I'm very good at what I do but can't seem to find anyone who will hire me to work on their home. I'm clean cut and well-spoken and have been told I present myself very well. It is my passion and it is getting very frustrating.

I don't get it.

How does it tie into a home heating system? Is there and carbon monoxide put off by it?
