What was it like immediately following your release? I've heard stories that some prisoners were made to stay in the camps for a time as the allies did not know where to place them (albeit under better conditions). Any of that true? How much say did you have as to where you went once released and how long did it take you to get back into any sort of normal living situation.

Thanks for the AMA!

I used to work in a mall store that closed. My mom actually bought a bunch of those heavy duty wire shelving units and bins for the basement and laundry room. 20 bucks a pop and they held a ton of stuff/lasted forever. It's probably been 15 years at this point and she still has them. Other then that, most of the stuff went to small business. Retail shelving, display cases, warehouse equipment and things like that are really expensive to buy new.

I think it's supposed to be satire, but if that's the case, it's far from obvious and lacks any comedic element. Since the author claims it's satire right from the get-go, I don't want to think it's actually ill intentioned or serious. But yeah, still not a good look.

There was another ama from a porn stage crew person awhile ago and it did not sound like a good time. Said it was often times unbearably hot and smelled awful. Also said a lot of the people are weird and you're constantly surrounded by drugs and iffy, uncomfortable situations.

I'd guess the novelty of being on a porn set wears off pretty quick and then your just watching other people do sex stuff for eight hours a day.
