This makes me sad. I hope you get your situation resolved and get to come to America. I worked with a lot of interpreter's in Iraq, male and female, who wore masks when they went out on missions with us so the insurgents (or locals) would not see their faces, which could result in retaliations against their families. In return they were given letters of recommendation from our command stating they had helped the United States Military etc etc; I guess it was naive of me to assume they all got their VISA's later and made it here.
