That episode actually changed the way I buy whiskey. I used to buy the better whiskeys just to have the better brands on my shelf because I thought they should be better. Now I buy whichever ones I like best...regardless of price or name brand. Probably saves me a ton of money too! Thanks!

This 8% number is grossly inflated unless he/she is including fire alarms/false alarms. Actual fires account for less than 1% of call volume on the vast majority of departments unless it's a fire department that ONLY responds to fire calls.

In our town they're our biggest advocate...they protect us when we go out on psych calls, overdoses and the like. We like having them around and they like having us around.

Absolutely true...but to be perfectly fair/honest my end goal at the start of every single shift is go to home at the end of my shift. If I can save a life or two along the way so be it but my number one priority is me, number two is my partner and number 3 on down is everyone else!
