Congratulations! I am local there. Yes, take your own risk. Main inconvenience will be the blocking airport protest , flights will be cancelled. The blocking may go for a few days or half a day from the past experience, but the protest is very dynamic, they may change the way of protesting in the future too. For normal sight seeing, it won't affect too much, avoid the areas having protest , ask local friends about the protest location may help. HK always welcome you guys to come and visit us!

Kinda unexpected for Hkers, at the beginning of the protest, we didn't expected we got people suicided. We didn't expect police spam tear gas everywhere , even in indoor areas. We also didn't expected that police will shoot the eye of a protester.

We do have some plans about the 2047 problem but no conclusion is reached

Agree that the protest is now not mainly focus the bill, but the demands right now does help solving the bill problem if it happens again

We do afraid the history repeats itself. But actually if they do really come, there is nth that we can do.

Everyone in hk cares about this protest. Some support and some are not.

FYI : Some government and communist party supporters even want the army enter the city and kill all the protestors.
